Tiffyd789 : I have tried it three times and didn't like any of the meals. My friends only go there for margaritas and chips.

I haven't liked Chachi's for a while. The waiters were pushy and a tad rude the last few times. The food wasn't great and I dislike how close together the tables are. I constantly felt like others were breathing on my plate.
TXLobo : It's always so crowded in there because the tables and chairs are so close to each other. ..you feel like you're at the next person's table
Tiffyd789 : You're allowed to have an opinion and not get attacked for it. I'm sorry it wasn't the best experience for you. The margaritas are very good there, and the food is also pretty good, but it's not my favorite here in our area.
Sisyphus: chuy had not taught his staff how to make the skinny on the rocks. Too much lime juice! If Chuy there I return them and he makes them.
Tiffyd789 : I like Chachi's a lot. I always eat in the bar to avoid the loudness clatter. The Chachi's Camerones is my favorite. ( fried shrimp and jalapeños).
Tiffyd789 : I've had similar experiences at Chachis. As others said, it's TexMex which is different than traditional Mexican if that's what you're looking for.
I do like their tortillas and fajitas.
I am mostly put off by the staff, bums rush and indifferent attitude towards being welcoming and polite. The optic is that we should appreciate that they exist as opposed to them appreciating our patronage.
