@Fireba11 : There are so many obvious reasons to protest against trump.
trump is too authoritarian and he may not have been crowned a king, but he wants the kind of authority that kings have:
No consequences for his actions whether legal or not
Absolute subservience of those who work for him
Ability to ruin anyone who has ever "wronged" him
The kind of adulation from citizens normally reserved for royalty
I guess I better do some more research on getting paid.
Y'all are convinced protesters are getting paid and I have yet to figure out who is doling out the money.

Welcome @Boobie It will likely be months until another No Kings rally, but one will likely happen before the mid term election in November. Keep an eye on this website to for all the info. When you learn of the date, you can politely ask here, or somewhere less snarky about how to find someone to go with.

There is an abundance of examples when both parties have been in power that show authoritarian leanings. Why pretend like only Trump does it when you know you didn't publicly protest Democrats who did it? To many of us, that doesn't look like you and others are being principled on the issue. It looks like you're being selective and hypocritical.

Political polarization in the United States has increased, with many Americans believing the opposing party threatens democratic norms or constitutional rights.

So why does the solution involve promoting further polarization?
