MissAmericanPie : Yes it would seem it wouldn't take 30 years to get a work permit. The permit has to be applied for. Permits are not issued by you getting a knock on the door. Undocumented people in the USA ILLEGALLY is illegal. He has been flying under the radar for a long time. His employer should be held somewhat responsible.

NeenaC0629 : Im sorry and I know he wasn't here legally nor do we know why so long.....but it seems these should not be the ones ICE targets. Unless proven otherwise it seems he established himself perfectly. 3 boys sent to college and successful contributing to our country. I cant be heartless like some others on KDC and maybe I'm proven wrong on this

None of you have the final facts; even some of the ICE agents INVOLVED are not aware of all of the evidence, at this time. Right now, anything 'floating around' is hearsay, until the investigation is done.
LittleTexas : True. I would say that..if the police pull you over, ask you to step out of the vehicle. . . just comply. IF in fact he was close to attaining citizenship, then why not explain that and ask for lienency? (sp)

NeenaC0629 : I think what might have happened is he recently applied, maybe due to the crackdown currently going on….just a hunch
Were the ICE vehicles clearly marked? Would you pull over for an unmarked vehicle ?
