Although my implication was around the fact that ramp closures will delay the departing aircraft leaving the arriving aircraft on the taxiways awaiting the gates to open, which can go on for hours. People want off, we have no way of letting them off. Aircraft can't push, planes can't park, everyone is stuck waiting in the endless time continuum that is a ramp closure.
