Happyface : Really? For stealing some cologne.... this is a very petty crime. It would be an extreme waste of resources to hold a person for this in my opinion. Get him bailed and then send him to court and fine him.
ZMAN : He wanted something free and he got it. Free ride to the police station, free over night stay, free autograph from a judge, free meal(s), meet new people like bonds people, free appointed lawyer, and back at Macys a few days later stealing more.

ZMAN: Just imagine if all petty thieves were just "let go"… not arrested… No pursuit to apprehend. You break the law, you suffer the consequences. Stealing in any form is against the law.
Humble PD Catches Suspected Thief After Auto and Foot Pursuit On the evening of May 5th Humble PD was advised of a male stealing merchandise from Macy's inside Deerbrook Mall. The Suspect quickly exited the store, got into his vehicle and fled the parking lot of the mall. Loss prevention employees provided a detailed description of the vehicle and license plate making it possible for our Night Shift A officers to quickly locate the suspect vehicle. A traffic stop was attempted but the suspect refused to stop, sped off and began to evade. Officers pursued the suspect vehicle until it became disabled when the suspect struck another vehicle. The suspect then began to flee on foot, jumping off the freeway and running into a nearby neighborhood. The female officer that was pursuing the suspect was undeterred by having to jump off the freeway or chasing the suspect into the neighborhood by herself. It didn't take long for her to catch up to the suspect and put him in custody. Backup officers arrived shortly after and assisted in getting the suspect back to the scene. TXSunDvl : This was from the police a week after my jugging when a store caught my thief on a store cam stealing catalytic converters in conroe. The exact car was in pic too but a side view, so no plates. Police texted me this pic. Of course pic is too grainy to make a positive id. I never heard another word from police after this pic. In hind site I wish I contacted the press with a pic of the car off ring camera the day the theft was caught on the ring with the offer of a 5k reward. Somebody might have recognized the car. Considering the amount stolen was so large houston news station might have run the story - I dunno. The bank did not…..they had no outdoor cameras of the car following me either. Is that nuts? The black man at the opposite inside the bank was cleared.

Rolnwithmyhomie : Im taking this pic (the police has a pic of the guy at the bank who saw how much I took out) to see if they match. Prolly nothing but worth a try. Officer said the guy at bank checked out……but didn't elaborate exactly HOW he checked out. Since there were ZERO outside cameras did they go to his house to make sure the car captured on ring wasnt his? Makes no sense.
