Humble ISD Election Day = Today

jrjtex : I seem to recall that's been the pattern for past ISD elections, too. The same people who don't vote are the ones who complain about the school taxes and how the schools are run.

jrjtex : I think it's ridiculous they are posted up in Kingwood. Kingwood isn't the only community within the district. I hope they make their way to Generation Park and other parts of the district.

CaffeineFree : Early polls have shown a higher turnout than the previous election. So, there's that.

eighteen : Well, that would be good news for sure. After the bumpy ride of the last 2 years, we need a strong Board of Directors to steer Humble ISD back on course. Too many distractions last year with the superintendent snafu.

CaffeineFree : I think it's ridiculous anyone would consider voting for candidates who were apart of that mess. Hopefully, today's polls show a higher turnout than the last election as well.
