Was he the guy who use to sing throughout the restaurant? I remember going for breakfast and him singing patriotic songs and hymns. He went and visited at every table. May he RIP - he was such a nice man. 4951

HappyDay2016 : Oh, that makes me very sad. My first few years here in Texas, we ate there a lot. We'd always bring anyone visiting there to eat and hear Tom sing God Bless America.
And yes he did come visit every table, and make sure you were enjoying your food and that everything was as you ordered.
One time we had chicken and dumplings, and they served it in a little metal pot. Tom walked by and my wife said to him, do you sell these?
He just gave it to her.
But then he came back a few minutes later with a nicer one for her to take home.
We still have it. 4951

HappyDay2016: May he Rest In Peace. Loved to go there and hear him sing. Sometimes he would ask for requests and other times just break out in song. He will be missed. Prayers for his family. 4951
