Earlier this afternoon Humble PD was contacted and made aware of theft of a vehicle that was in progress in the parking lot of Dick’s Sporting Good at the Deerbrook Mall. The caller advised that the suspects were in a white U-Haul pickup truck and were in the process of breaking into a Ford F250. A Night Shift B Officer that was working overtime at the mall was dispatched and quickly arrived in the area, located the suspect vehicle and detained the first suspect. Backup officers arrived shortly after and detained three additional suspects that were inside the U-Haul pickup.
Mall security was able to provide video of the incident and felony theft charges were filed on all four suspects for the attempted auto theft.p2c.humblepolice.com /p2c/jailinmates.asp x
