I thought they dumped it all in the same landfill anyway. Why is there a charge for that?

We recycle but also have a recycling fee on our bill. Certain items they won't take but I think it all goes to the dump anyway. I don't know because most recycled items I have purchased are cheap and flimsy anyway. For instance, a plastic water bottles are so thin and wood is not repurposed, etc. yet we have to buy these items @ full retail price. I'll do away with it altogether if I need to.

cbear : My family who lives in Corpus Christi has always paid for garbage pick up and it's crappy service. I would personally not want COH garbage service. I love Best Trash! They are great.

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Yes, Best is best! My DD has COH and hates it. They only give you 1 bin I think and if you want another, you have to pay I believe. They are just a family of 2 but have 2 dogs and a cat that make trash as well. They only pick up once a week too. For just me that would be fine but, the trash gets smelly and could possibly be unsafe for the workers.

Considering the ridiculous rate they charge us for water/ sewer (sewer sometimes exceeds water charge) on the water bill trash should already be included
