We went to a wedding Downtown several years back and noticed my DHs aunt and uncle from New Jersey sitting in front of us. When we finally spoke they were shocked how DT was dead during the weekend with not much to do. They are used to to NYC🤣

I have a friend who lives in NYC, and her rent for 1/3 of the living space, is triple what rent is here. Hers does Not include a full sized washer and dryer, daily door trash pickup, private patio, dog park,plenty of lot parking, security gates, a nice gym and resort style pool. She Is jealous..not to mention our Mexican food and BBQ here. Each city has it's own charms and drawbacks, so there is argument at each corner. There is no 'data' to back this claim, just a bunch of 'numbers' that anyone can make up. Good article for click bait, and amusing, if nothing else. You could Literally plug the name of Any large city in that topic sentence, and there would be 2 sides to that pancake.

Houston rated as worst city to live in Texas per news reports When out of town people come to visit you what is their opinion? Pros: Selections/Diversity of restaurants/eateries. Weather, except dead of summer Museums and attractions Shopping Sporting event: Astros, Rockets, Texans games Outdoor activities, Golf, Fishing, Hiking, and Going to the beach Cons: Traffic, Traffic, Traffic Dead of summer: Not a fan of the extreme heat and the humidity. Possibility of Hurricanes and flooding Reports of the high crime rate and road rage Urban Sprawl Amount of time that it takes to get anywhere These are just a few of their opinions but overall, not a bad place to live. What are your guest opinions of the Houston area. I am sure you have heard a few of your own
