The hottest week so far.... Starts tomorrow. Yikes, 104° tomorrow which likely means 105° for KW. And then 102°+ every day this week with 0% rain chances. School goes back Wednesday. We've had seven days in a row of high temperatures of 101° or higher and today should make day eight. There is little relief in sight as each day this week brings limited rain chances and highs above 100°. Activity remains quiet in the tropics other than one tropical wave that could bring rain the Caribbean by the end of the week.

Our tree is in shock dying because of the excessive temps I fear. I just spent the morning raking dead leaves 😩
My wife and are discussing moving. We have loved living here and its a tough call. Our kids both went to school here. Its gotten to the point that I can't stand the summers here any more. Too many high pressure heat dome things that just go on and on. To make matters worse, now we get no rain in June, July, and August. I dread summer every year. +

Airborne319 : Where do y'all want to move to? I think I can tolerate the Texas summer heat better than a cold snowy winter somewhere else
