cbear : I can't find the posts, but we had a few threads going years ago about a fictitious gang, originating out of the Greater Greentree Area, who were known as being extremely ruthless. They pop up in various threads from time to time. It's been so long I don't even remember how it started.

buffaloglenn : I agree with this. The protesters also drain taxpayer dollars because their actions often obligate additional law enforcement presence. I'm just not a fan of of devoting taxpayer dollars to enable attention whoring. I would be ok with it if their permits would actually cover the full costs and if they engaged in some parking lot fundraising to cover the costs. I don't want our cops to have to babysit outraged slogan shouters and sign shakers attempting to distract drivers due to the increased possibility for disruptive behavior. Spork : I used to know the website where for a few thousand to many tens of thousand+ $$ you can order requested number of individuals to come at a certain time to protest any topic of your choice. Since I didn't have several thousand to spend on that, I didn't save the website.
