julesmonster : Try not to overlook my point, but perhaps it's my fault for not making it clearer. What I posted was to call out the stupidity and hypocrisy of using street corner begging tactics which are usually identified as unsafe practices. I would rather they follow the lead of Girl Scouts and beg in front of grocery stores where there are fewer distracted drivers and those vehicles still on the move are traveling at minimal speeds in a location with an expectation for pedestrians to be on the move.
