I agree. But I would prefer they choose to treat the problem and not continue attempting to appease the symptoms.There are much healthier strategies to appease their voids in sense of purpose than exhibitions of public nuisance that can distract drivers or invite challenges that can lead to injury for everyone involved.It's not the kind of decision making I'm drawn to cheer on.For what it's worth, I have equal disdain for the decision makers that obligate firemen to stand in intersections to beg for money. They get paid to put their lives at risk to save the lives and property of others, not to put lives at risk through street corner begging.

Spork. The firemen begging for money on the the corner are usually participating in fundraiser for the Muscular Dystrophy Association called "Fill The Boot". It was always successful and contributed a lot of money towards research. It is/was a volunteer program. Unless, you know they were collecting for their own benefit, it shouldn't be made to seem as if it wasn't.
