Home insurance rates - JESUS!

StormChaser: I can totally relate. We did some major shopping for our home owners insurance. We've lived in this house since 1998, no claims, never flooded, but they still jacked up our rates by 30%. I wish I could get a 30% pay increase.

I wonder how regular people keeping their homes. Seems like people will have to lower their standard of living.

StormChaser: Same here. Never mind a claim and even if I had to I don't think I would because those deductibles are crazy high.
