Just like there are laws about privacy with health care the Texas legislator has passed privacy laws concerning what HOA's can give to the public. If you reported a neighbor for a violation all the law will allow the HOA say is the process of correcting the issue is in process. No other info can be provided. If you have an issue and want the law changed contact the state representatives.

MissAmericanPie : Pickup with trailer attached, parked on the side of the street. They have a worker that parks his vehicle over the sidewalk. Yes, I have been to meetings . The hoa rep raised her voice and said I've told you twice we can't tell you. I responded with you've told me more times than that and you'll probably have to tell me again. We were both heated.

Tell our HOA that! Not exaggerating I get a letter for it at least 4 times a year and I don't put them out until after dark and they are back in when I get home from work in the afternoon. They must have a quota or something!
What concerns me is why are the forum members giving tips to a new member who is also the HOA Narc???

RedROW : How are they are NARC? Are you saying that because he's reporting a truck with a trailer attached they have to dodge to get out of there driveway. I would complain too that's ridiculous. We don't have that where I live but I have a friend that has to dodge a broken down car that's in front of the house. they don't ever drive it it's got dents all over it but when it comes time for inspection they charge up the battery get it to the inspection have it inspected come back and park it for another year no one uses it. But the HOA said well because it's inspected they can keep it there. Well that's not fair to those trying to back out of a driveway that takes him 10 minutes so they can avoid hitting this car
sweetie : If the vehicle is on the street, that is an HPD matter, not an HOA matter.

Fiddledede : They have WAY too much power BUT they recently lost the ability to take away someone's home for back dues. Dont even get me started on HOA's. I loathed mine of 30 years. They take our money but you'll NEVER get an accounting of how they spend it.
Kingwood Glen….??? This isnt Kingwood - this is in Trashcosita
Ruger5 : well thats a shame. the hoa should be able to foreclose on your house if you dont pay your dues. maybe the fines could be exempted but not the dues. you signed the contract, you know the dues, pay up or move out.
