Hin's is the worst

This Yankee ate at Hins once and didn't care for it. Usually Hunan but ate there the other night and just meh! Couple of times I trucked down to Mencius it was good but that requires navigating KWD. 4951

To the monsters defending this horrendous restaurant, I make one plea:
In order to help me prove my point, I want you to list your top 5 favorite restaurants.

If you're referring to Kingwood area restaurants, my top 5 are Marsala's in Huffman, Chimichurri's, Raffa's, Chez Nous, and Saltgrass.

Marsalas is bottled Ragu on a plate. Saltgrass is barely palatable.
I'll give you the other three and toss in Pappas Seafood. We do need a Pappadeaux near the hood for the fifth. 4951

I'm convinced that the only reason Hin's stays open is because of the yankees who have moved to Kingwood keep eating there.

All the Chinese food in Kingwood sucks. The yankees eat at Hunan 777 in Porter because that, my friends, is real Chinese food. Emoticon

They clearly make it fresh. Best Italian restaurant in a 25 mile radius and there is no close second. The only way it could be more authentically Italian is if the nearby businesses had to pay them for protection.

Went to Zammittis a couple weeks ago and it wasn't good at all. The garlic knots they put on the table were so stale we couldn't eat them.

I find J. Christopers to be pretty good and consistent. 4951

Hin's is awful went there a few months ago. They sat us at the big round table the tablecloth was filthy. I wouldn't even put the silverware on the table. Â I will never go back again. Â The food was horrible.Â 4951

My top 5:1) Alma Latina..although I'll admit that it was much better when it was the catfish place2) Hofbrau in Porter....great steaks and atmosphereÂ 3) Shipley's for breakfast and coffee4) Golden Corral if you really want to pig out5) I really enjoy the seafood from the crawfish truck parked near the fireworks stand on NP 4951
