Hin's is the worst:
1.) They put bologna in the wanton soup. I can't even....
2.) They use fake, fatty chicken.
3.) The "fried rice" is merely salty-soggy rice. No egg. No veggies. No flavor.
4.) No spice in their food.
5.) That place feels super dirty.

Why would anyone eat at Hin's when they could eat Hunan? WAY better ingredients. WAY better wanton. WAY better atmosphere. And WAY better service.

I'm convinced that the only reason Hin's stays open is because of the yankees who have moved to Kingwood keep eating there. 4951

My favorite ...1.) They put bologna in the wanton soup. I can't even....  ? Love their wonton soup, never see bologna in it...2.) They use fake, fatty chicken. - order all white meat chicken..3.) The "fried rice" is merely salty-soggy rice. No egg. No veggies. No flavor. - the pork fried rice is good, never had it soggy, it has egg, peas and carrots in it4.) No spice in their food. -  plenty spice for me, I even pick out the red peppers5.) That place feels super dirty. - never eat in, always carry out... 4951

I only dined in once. But it was clear they ran a pretty successful delivery business. Their food was better than I expected.

I would eat there again. No complaints from me. 4951

Andreweggplant  Spork  @sweetieSame here, dudes....  No complaints whatsoever....They've always only been groovy accommodating when I've dined at Hins, hooking a home-dude up with extra Shrooms, as requested, in the Kung Pao Chicken....   ...And I absolutely adore those crispy Wonton strip-thing-ies they give you when dining in....P.S. - Kung PAO!  LOL! 4951

@joshWa!:

All the Chinese food in Kingwood sucks. The yankees eat at Hunan 777 in Porter because that, my friends, is real Chinese food. Emoticon 4951

It's all subjective, some people like broccoli and some people don't...

@joshWa!: Come on! It's just a restaurant difference of opinion...difference in taste and preference. No where near a name-calling level. Just sayin'

I've tried Hin's probably 8-10 times and tried several different dishes. I prefer Hunan's over Hin's.  Hin's cooks with something like a sweet wine that sometimes gives me a headache.  Their General Tsao's chicken isn't spicy at all except for the few slices of jalapeno pepper laying on top.  My son prefers Hin's.  Different strokes for different folks. 4951
