Hi, I'm new to Kingwood. I know one person...Ray. I would like to get involved by meeting some ladies and maybe learn how to play Bunko or other activities. I'm very good at playing Spades. I walk everyday and go to the gym on most days.

Check out the Academy of Lifetime Learning through Lonestar college. I haven't looked this semester because my schedule is too full, but they have had a spades class in the past for today who know the game and those that don't to play. There are also a lot more classes. It is a great way to meet people.
Welcome! Check your neighborhood/villages FB pages and the another website, too. I found a group years ago, by walking when other were out for the same activity in the afternoon or morning, and chatting about groups and things to do, together. Some churches have get togethers, too. My sister does a Bible Study/coffee morning, once a week, and has met women there that she does other things with; shopping, lunch, etc

Welcome to Kingwood and this forum. You are off to a great start with Ray. I love playing spades and would join you if anyone else likes to play.
Kingwood has really good schools and is very nice place to live. I think you will like it here. Post often and get to know the people on this forum.

I see people playing cards at the community center on rustic woods but have not gone in to see what they are playing. May be bridge? Maybe call and get a schedule of activities.
Get involved with Kingwood Hi Neighbors group. They have a ton of activities including bunco, Canasta, bridge, mah jong and more!
