Hello,
I am looking for information regarding power in Sherwood Trails subdivision. I am in the process of purchasing a 1978 built home there. There is a 5' Aerial Eavesment in the back yard. This means that the city can legally put power lines over the backyard along that 5' route. Although not power lines exist now, does anyone know of credible plans to put power lines over homes? I hear there are routine power issues in Sherwood Trails. Thank you for your help!

All of Kingwood loses power frequently. We live in a forest - trees and tree limbs fall, especially with high winds.

Doubt you have to worry about power lines being installed. Maybe sewer issues since it runs along the same lines. Dont plant anything that has big roots there.
They came out years ago and cut my crepe myrtle along the easment, but that was once in 18 years 🤪
