Been in Kingwood for a bit. Probably be here a little bit longer. Been a lurker on this site for a while, but never bothered making an account. Doing it now out of boredom, and so I can comment if someone ever posts a pic of my car after I bend a traffic law or two. And also because there seems to be a noticeable increase in crime lately and there's been a few posts I would have commented on but couldn't without an account. Anyway, I will probably continue lurking but maybe with a few comments here and there. Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas and has a Happy New Year.

muffy : Lol idk. I've seen a lot of thin skinned folks in here. And I'm above 40 but not yet old enough to gripe about fireworks. If I had some land I'd be mag dumping into trash to celebrate.
wagendaddy : I have been here 7 years and I am 10 times that many years old. (Although I don't look it! lol…. Just kidding!) I am thin skinned or I would have a lot to say to some people! Life is too short to argue, though. You will see fireworks gripes coming soon. Keep posting…like I said, we are glad you are here!

luv2eatsushi : I believe there is a "noticeable" uptick. Big is a leap. If social media were invented in the last year or so, I could see how that would have an impact on perceived crime vs actual crime. But I don't think it factors in anymore. I've only been around since 2019, and it is my belief that within the last 18-24 months things have taken a turn for the worse. In 2019, I firmly labeled Kingwood as a high trust society. It still is, but there are cracks forming. I wonder how it will look in another 10 years.
