Junebug1993 : Sometimes, I think we feel too safe here in Kingwood. Thank of this as a warning and start being more careful. I think things like this happen to us for a reason. It's to make us more aware.
TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Anyone on the lookout can help just people around the area being on the lookout and mention to the creep that the bike belongs to a 32 year old girl with special needs who has no other form of transportation

People are so unaware of what's happening right under their noses. It's definitely NOT the Kingwood prior to annexation.
All the flood repairs brought in lots of contractors & repair people along with criminals. One came to my door 8 years ago & said he'd do work for free. When I didn't take him up on his offer, he came back & stole things & took my car keys.
The Houston police who spend their last 30 days at the substation don't want to get involved much & don't want to jeopardize their pensions. You're on your own for a lot of things.
Crime is now secretly flourishing in KW without much to curtail the tide. Be ever so vigilant to protect your things.
