Hello! i'm moving to kingwood in a month and wanted to know what are some good electricity, water, gas companies, etc. I'm going to sherwood trails 77339. It's only two of us so we aren't really home at the same time so won't be using a lot of everything but i guess anything that is cheap would work nothing crazy pricey bills.

Welcome. Water and gas are set. City of Houston for water and centerpoint for gas. You will need to set those up. Electricity varies of course, I use ranchero, I pay about .12 cents per kilowatt. Watch out for fine print saying it's cheaper if you use over 1k or 2k of energy a month.

For electricity go to powertochoose.org and find something there. Do not use optimum for internet, us ezfibre/tachus

And you have to use the trash and recycle service that your HOA contracted (you pay). Don't forget to pay HOA and trails fees annually.

i'll look into that! yeah i used gexa energy for my last home for 12.0 per kwh at 1000 kwh and if i hit above it it gave $100 off but sometimes i didnt hit above it and my bill was $200+

Water bills are just fun to open in KW. You never know what you are going to get. Half joking🤭
