Real question is Cal52, do you intend to do a lot of traveling while here where a vehicle is needed? I say this because an Uber from the airport to Kingwood is generally around $50. If you don't plan to travel and what not...it might be easier to Uber to what you need!? Just a thought.

Cal52 : Pretty much anything is better than renting at the airport. Airport prices are crazy expensive.

I second the Uber idea. Depending on how much driving you plan to do, the daily rental rate could be more than a few local Uber trips.

Turo is getting popular around here. Not sure how it all works because I haven't used it but others on here have.

Chiza: will be going to Woodlands, NRC, Spring as well as local shopping and restaurants. So Ubering would get pricy. We just have more people to transport than would fit in the vehicle of the family we are visiting so need an extra car for a few days!

KanKan: I've heard of that but not sure either how it works! I'd love to hear about others experiences with it!

I've done Turo, just read all of the fine print and details. It's pretty good. But it's easier if your handy with the app. Agree with Enterprise on 494 if you feel comfortable with a national chain.

Cal52 : There is one on 1960, not far from Kingwood, by El Jalapeno Mexican restaurant. It is in a small strip shopping center.
