so, it's over on the 'older Humble side' of things. it will definitely have it's market share, but name brand products we know well, like Tide, etc, are more expensive, and their brands are, of course, cheaper. It has a bit of a Fiesta as a Warehouse vibe. I usually only buy fruit there; they bring in their bakery goods, and they are not very fresh. Better to go over into Humble to Conchas Cafe and Bakery, over on E. Main Street, in old Humble, for baked goods, and Nando's for breakfast tacos, on 1st Street Easy in Humble, too.

yes, in the strip center with Michael's, DSW and Daiso. Big parking lot already, so that is good.

I shop there every month. I go to the one off 1960. I can not wait for the Humble one to open. The produce is way cheaper, the meat is cheaper and you can still get some can foods 3 for 1.00, bread for .88 cents. I spend around $120.00 a month and what I buy last all month. But most of what they sell is off name brand.

Also, unless things have changed the past few years, some prices are actually lower than the exact same product that HEB sells. Same exact UPC. They do (at least on the Eastside) cater to a Hispanic crowd which I don't hate. I have found brands that work as good as "American " name brands for alot less!Unless you are a brand snob, or can't work with a starting recipe, you can't beat the canned vegetables prices! Even Walmart doesn't try to compete!Also, some weird stuff shows up. I got a huge Igloo cooler, with wheels for like $10. DW wasn't happy but eh, she got over it!!!

Hey, you never know what they might have bought out from another business, and that can be a Good thing. Joe V's, to me, is similar to Fiesta in ways, though I am not as big a fan of their bakery, as I do not care for the Mexican pastries made in HEB stores; they are frozen and baked, and just not authentic. I have to say the best Mexican bakery near us is off of 45 at Sawdust. My older son lived about 25 minutes away, closer to 99, but when we go to 'the other end' of Sawdust to shop or eat , we always go by Panaderia Estrella, which is in a strip shopping center right behind the HEB there, just off of the 45 South feeder. Freshly baked every day,and some of the best Conchas ever, they are Not dry

Yay!!! I can't wait. They are much like a warehouse, but a HEB warehouse. They have meat bundles for those low on cash, the prices are wonderful. The produce is hit or miss, it depends on the location. The Spring location has great produce. And yes, they have a frozen food section, also have households section.
