Maver1ck :
I'v noticed the ground sinking here in KW and thought I was imagining it ! Some of the fences in back yards are not level like they used to be !

Maver1ck : Re my "levity":Despite MSN's (and the usual environmental zealots') prediction last month that a "million more homes face subsidence issues by 2050 thanks to climate change" and based upon current threats to mankind (war, crime, mass migration, famine, genocide, other natural and human engineered disasters, et al), geological subsidence appears a minor footnote on the priority scale. Besides, the eclipse is going to end the world as we know it anyway. (More levity.) 😝

Maver1ck : Just code for "follow the money".

Maver1ck: C'mon man, of course I'm aware of land subsidence but I'm not going to stop using water, or oil, gas and minerals extracted from the earth - neither are you or anyone else. So just live with it, we're doomed.

GeneratorMarcus : Thanks for the laughs -- very appropriate song!

Maver1ck Quixote :
Actually, I think we all bought it in Y2K and we've been in the Twilight Zone ever since ?
