StormChaser : We heard gunfire about 2 weeks ago. Called HPD and reported it. Clearly from a gun.
More gunfire More gunfire in Trailwood last night around 2am. And yes - I know the difference between gunshots & fireworks. This has happened multiple times in the last 2 weeks. It's usually 7-15 shots from an automatic weapon. I own many myself so I know what they sound like. I can't tell what direction they are coming from. I'm right by the pool/park but they aren't that close. Maybe along the ditch or in Forrest Cove? But they're close enough to where I can hear them from inside my house! Either way, incredibly unnerving. 😬

FloydRTurbo StormChaser : Full moon is tomorrow night . Deer feed at night around full moon; I assume feral hogs would as well. If someone is shooting wildlife, now would be the perfect time with the full moon and cold temperatures.

SteveT : If they are pig hunting they are a bad shot. None of the shots sounded like it hit anything.
