I remember when they were in the front of KW behind Minimax and they were basically a premiere Italian restaurant at bargain prices. We used to go so much I my parents knew the owner. This was back when they still served veal. But no one even eats that anymore.

I always enjoy the food. Been going for a long time. I remember when it was just the little mom and pop place.

Gingersnap : I like their food, service is good, we go to the one in Humble, near Portillo's. Their bread used to be better, but it is still enjoyable, and I only eat one roll now, which does Not hurt me

Gingersnap : No, it is definitely different! Susie, the owner of the one in Humble told me they made it from their pizza dough, when we first began going there, Many years ago. After the pandemic, it seems they use some pre- made rolls and warm or bake them. They are now almost like 'dry layers', and nowhere Near as good as they used to be. This isnt just my opinion, but everyone in our family and extended family, feels the same. That they Are different. My sister and I have made bread from scratch since we were 12, so No doubt the recipe has changed.
