I'm learning more and more that "gravity" (falling down a lot) just comes with old age. It's an old age exercise - falling down then trying to get back up ... then clean up all the blood loss from the damage of the fall. Not really funny!
MissAmericanPie : Not yet ... I do good just getting out of bed every morning and keeping my balance. I am trying to start walking some with my walker when the weather permits. It's just been so stinkin' hot even at 7:00 in the mornings.
You're doing the right thing backing off that stuff til they get you figured out., ðŸ‘
At my ripe old age, I can't seem to keep my balance at all!

I am getting older and not aging well either. Balance is an issue for me too. Had some back pain issues and I went to a physical therapist (as long as I could afford it!) and he gave me six exercises I could do sitting in a chair that would strengthen my core, which I think is an important thing to do, and it seems to help some. Only takes about 15 minutes a day.....and at least I feel like I'm doing something to help. Arthritis keeps me from doing a lot of walking....Google core strengthing exercises for seniors and you should find some.....getting old sucks
Sorry you are having these issues. I still have morning brain fog from that alien virus of January 2019. Some mornings are worse than others.
I was just talking to my dh about us aging. I was a very active person when I was young. Lol I could sleep in a chair sitting up with my 5 inch heels on ready to go. I could be sound asleep and hear road trip and I'd pop up with a I'm driving.
I danced for nearly 20 years from 5 hours to 14 hour days 6 days a week. Let alone the water skiing, hiking, hunting, fishing, etc. We rarely slept.
When my dh and I got together he was responsible for bringing home the majority of the bacon. I brought home vacation and play money. I'd do majority of the house stuff. I also had a team of teens and young men to call that worked on call for me. The only things that have changed is I'm old and can't do what I used too. We moved to Texas and I have not found a reliable young, strong, hungry team. I need my dh's help to move things that were once a breeze to scoot. I find bruises on myself/ my dh we have no idea where they came from. My dh is always saying omg I'm bleeding and has no idea what he hit.
I have been trying to do strength training and balance exercises at home. I have to be really careful or I'll throw my hip/lower back. That's just another level of ugly.
I've told my dh that I believe aging and slowing down is unhealthy. The less I have to do, the less I can do. So that I can get a work out I started scrubbing walls etc. Been too hot outside and there really isn't much to do inside. I've also taken to purging every nook and cranny. I absolutely hate stepping over **** or someone setting **** in my path. Gone are my days I flipped furniture every week, moved queen beds myself across a house, or picking up that 6ft high x 3ft wide solid pecan armoire and carrying it to the other room. Only to my dh's horror of wtf is wrong with you looks. Got rid of most heavy things in my life.
I hope they don't find anything and tell you, you are getting older and you must be more mindful of the things you are doing. Last September I flew three feet backwards and bruised my tailbone. It just stopped hurting on a constant daily basis. If I sit too long it still hurts a bit. I then kicked over some small 12 inch pots a month ago. I punted them hard thinking they would fly. They plopped over but not before ******* up my foot, ankle and lower leg of my driving foot. I'm not sure if I could long haul a 12 hour drive now. 😫
I need to find some hungry young people to do my grunt work.
