Delayed until the end of July...

Officials at Grand Texas have announced they will be delaying the opening of the new Big Rivers Waterpark until at least next month.

From their FB page:

"Due to recent inclement weather patterns and projections from the National Weather Service, it is with regret that we have decided to reschedule the Grand Opening date for Big Rivers Waterpark and Gator Bayou Adventure Park into July. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding during this delay and we wish everyone a Happy Independence Day..."

Immediately following the news, customers who had bought a non-refundable annual pass were understandably worried about losing available time to use them. Later, Grand Texas updated their post to answer those concerns...

"With regards to people concerned about their Annual Pass purchases. The 365 pass is not a season pass, it is valid for 365 days upon activation. This means once your pass has been activated it can be used not only at Big Rivers but also our year round park Gator Bayou and well into the next year's waterpark season."
