I realize that the issue of flooding have been of great concern for decades, and there are many people to thank along the way for their efforts to bring about improvement, but I especially want to thank Representative Charles Cunningham for facing the most recent challenges. I do not know details, but I do know that it has been a struggle to bring us this far. Thank you, Representative Cunningham for fighting our battles. This was a big win for the safety and security of many communities in our area, including Kingwood.
