Good morning, being new to the South and the Kingwood area I can see I'm in need of pest control, to get rid of an occasional visitor that I don't want to become a frequent guest. Who do y'all recommend as a good company that's good, reliable and not too expensive? Thanks

Thanks for the replies, and the clean suggestions Ballards it is and no Lavender got it…I will use them all as I hate bugs. We moved here because we have family here and we are old and we are from the snow belt in Pa. Can't take the cold anymore! This is such a beautiful area…we love it…minus the bugs of course ….. we dealt with attic rats with well, a permanent relocation program🤭 anyway, thanks again!

It's an endless battle with mega size roaches. Best thing is keep your floors and counters clean. Dont use lavender scents on floors, it will call roaches from miles away

HappyDay2016 : those are palmetto bugs, and not from a place being 'dirty'. those ugly devils live and thrive in the pine trees that are everywhere in KW, and all of our area of Texas. They like to come inside, and also will 'ride' in via paper grocery bags, cardboard boxes, etc. Further, they can FLY, (Dear Lord, Why?!) so do not leave your doors open, when you go out to get groceries from the car, etc! Further, they can survive a nuclear war. Beyond Ugh!! Store your rice, sugar, flour, and any cracker,etc food boxes and bags in ziplocs or tight lide plastic or glass containers. ie, Pack it up Tight; anything Remotely related to, or, "food'. This is such a heinous creature, that No birds or other creature will eat them, due to their having a 'bitter' defense, so that when a predator tries to eat them, they emit a severely bitter substance, internally. So, there is literally No 'cycle of life' for them, you just Gotta obliterate and fight them. With a good pest control company, and spraying a roach spray around the exterior of your home yourself in between professional visits, you Can keep them at bay. I spray the exterior around my doors, windows, and all around the inside of my garage, as well, and it helps a lot.

proudgram52 : good luck they are sneaky and constant down here. There are invisible bugs and flying spiders and those horrible fire ants. 15 years I he ace been here an I still haven't found a good exterminator « Back to Chat
