Chickadee : Jeepinbear : Good luck. I drove up to Tyler this morning and am at a disability appointment with my sister. First time around was denied and now working on appeal. Going to another appointment after this one and will spend the night here. Home tomorrow.

My son's was too in the beginning. We had to the state mental health center for yet another evaluation and after that, they have left him alone. Now it's like starting from square one again. Which is just fine. He's been on over 15 years. It's not like he woke up yesterday and his autism was gone. Best of luck with your sister and her needs. They can build a wall at SSI and it can be beaten down with effort. Be safe on your travels. PM me anytime, I know it's not easy or fun to deal with.
