What are YOU going to do on July 4th?
Weathergirl5 : I had a dog that would hide under my bed ...........and pant until the fireworks went away. I know the feeling.
wmubronco : Time with family during the day. Pajamas and popcorn to watch the fireworks from different cities, on tv.
LittleTexas : Relaxing and watching .........a lot of 250 Year Celebrations! Nice.
wmubronco : I know a few neighbors who have 'disposable income' will be popping fireworks, but I like to watch the big events from New York , etc. They have good music, and more, too.
LittleTexas : Much easier........and safer........sit back, to watch and enjoy.
wmubronco : We went somewhere every year, when the kids were young. They used to have a big fireworks event at the Humble High School stadium. Plenty of room; we brought our own low beach chairs. The fire works were right above our heads, or it felt like it. My kid's dad would drop us off, and pick us up afterwards, so we didn't fight traffic going home. Always stopped at the Sonic for hot fudge sundaes, afterwards. Lots of good memories!

wmubronco : I had a dog like that too and it was awful. If possible I would like to prevent that phobia in my new puppy.
