God Bless the First Responders
Our first responders are tough but searching for children in this horrific devastation there is no training or experience that can prepare you for such incredible grief. I'm hearing this is far worse than any other disaster Texas has seen even Harvey. I am so grateful for not only the first responders doing search and rescue but for all first responders right here in Beaumont working our streets tonight. We do NOT show you enough thanks. God bless and keep you 🙏🏼

I imagine its one of those things you never heal from.
I'm miles away and just seeing the pictures of those poor children weighs heavy on me.

I was also thinking of the 911 operators. I don't know how they deal with the trauma of events like this and knowing they may have been the last person the victims spoke to. I wouldn't be able to deal with that.

After 56 hours of tireless search and rescue operations, a hero finally rests. This heroic dog has proven that selflessness, dedication, and courage know no bounds. It's a reminder of the unseen sacrifices made by those who serve others, whether in uniform or not. Sometimes, heroism isn't just about action-it's about enduring for as long as it takes.

True service often involves long hours, hard work, and even personal sacrifice, but the rewards are immeasurable. This dog didn't stop until every person had been found, showing us what it means to give everything without expecting anything in return. It's not about the applause, but about the lives saved along the way.
