CaffeineFree: those people who disagree with the cleanup are wrong . They don't realize those views are killing the trees hopefully one day they will see
rocklady2024 : Yes, and the vines make it difficult to safely traverse the crossovers. NP and WLHP need the same taming of the vines.

GreentreeMom : It is looking really good! I love all those vines are no longer weighting down the trees and I can see the traffic on the other side.

GreentreeMom : I think it all looks a lot cleaner, too. I do worry about the wildlife out here, though. I've seen a few more dead animals along KW Drive than I used to.

CatalinaD : Regarding the road kill, it might just be the time of year, with animals being more active in warm weather. This time last year I was hauling some equipment from our country place to Bryan-College Station, and every mile or so, there was another dead skunk. I renamed highway 79 Dead Skunk Road.
