Weathergirl5 : This evening I am munching my way through a bag of pistachios as through the internet I look here and there around the world to learn what the few YouTubers I follow have to say about what's going on in their parts of the world. Scotland, Denmark, the UK, Austria, France, South Korea, Canada, and the Philippines, plus several folks in the USA. A young Russian family whose YouTube posts about their family life and travels I used to enjoy for several years has gone quiet. I think Russia has finally completely closed them off from communicating with the rest of the world. Now and then I work on an online jigsaw puzzle or game, a peaceful occupation I enjoy every day.Of course I read and participate here on the forum, as well. I'm watching the clock. Midnight will bring a new Obfuscations game to play. This week I set a personal best record: I solved for the correct word with only two guesses twice (!) in one week. Maybe I can accomplish that again tonight? I hope so!

We went to the Trader Joe's down in the old Alabama theater. They said the one in Kingwood has been slightly delayed, but they are still hoping for early December open. Fingers crossed.

What a wonderful way to spend your evening. We did hit some rain on the back to Kingwood and I'm hoping we get some overnight at the house. We desperately need some rain.

The only news I got is they are still hoping for an early December open for the Kingwood Trader Joe's. There's been a slight delay, but they are still hoping for early December. That's perfect if it happens before Christmas.

Well, you only have about 17 minutes to wait until the new game post on here. You are much better at it than I am. Actually, I'm pretty awful at it lol

Really, I'm both quite good at it and awful at it. Depends on what the solution is on any one day. You don't see the days I gave up, when I had no idea what the solution was and my search engine (Bing) couldn't figure it out for me, either. But it is fun to work toward that solution, either way. I like the Obfuscations game!My favorite so far from all the words we have considered, is "sunflower." Gardeners who were playing quickly recognized that one. My clues said something like "rooted" and "wistfully following the beacon far above." Definitely "sunflower." Still, my first thought was of a lighthouse and its beacon. I puzzled over that for a while, not being able to pin down a good word to try. Only then did that "rooted" word in my clue get my attention. Aha!
