I would call the Polk Co non-emergency line and report it . They will direct you,from there. It could be stolen, so you don't want to have it in your possession, until you are sure it is clear.

You've probably found a lot of interesting things around the lake. I'm glad you reported this to law enforcement, and I would let them handle it from there. It's nice of you to help in these situations, hopefully they will find the rightful owner soon.

When I was in college at SHSU, one of my good friends was a fishing guide on LL on the weekends. Used to go with him to fish , all the time! We fish at Matagorda Bay and the general area, there, but have bene talking about Livingston when it gets a bit cooler. ( ie, early October?!!) Used to also go to some friend's land in Madisonville and lake bank fish, for brim.
