Oh no! I hate it when they don't give you any notification of a planned power outage. Hopefully it comes on before 5 PM.

I drove Hamblin Road yesterday and noticed several Centerpoint trucks. They were working on the lines just past the fire station.

Yeah, I saw all the trucks too. I just wish they would do a better job notifying people of the outages. We've had a dozen of these this year for anywhere from 2-6 hours and I've been notified twice - which is getting to be really annoying. They know whose power is going out. They know our phone numbers and email addresses. They need to use them. Depending on some guy to deliver a flyer (which is all I've received the two times I did get notification...) just isn't good enough.
I'm happy they are making improvements - don't get me wrong. But the communication strategy on this stuff blows and they need to do better.
