I mean eggs are eggs, but the grits were the best I have ever had (other than when I make them and load them up with cheese). The biscuit was pretty good too. I think for the most part, the quality is better than Denny's or IHop.
teatime : The positive it is so very close. And easy for a meet with friends type of thing.

Yep, sadly I think $35 to $40 (tax and tip included) for two people for breakfast (no alcohol) is pretty standard these days.

Yes and they are the best grits I have ever had at a restaurant--and they didn't even have cheese in them!

Yes, the food was good and the prices were in line with other breakfast places, but for me, $20 is a little pricey for breakfast--unless it is a special occasion.

Flying Biscuit Cafe I took my mom here for a belated birthday breakfast today. First time to try it. They were busy at 8:30. Server and was good and the food arrived very fast. I had the breakfast with eggs, bacon, grits, a biscuit, and a pancake. She had the same breakfast, but no pancake. Everything was tasty. The grits were especially good. They were creamy just as advertised. The biscuit was good as well. It had a dusting of granulated sugar on top and came served with the cranberry apple butter, which was also good. The bacon was not crisp like I ordered, but wasn't floppy either. The pancake was light and fluffy. Overall it was very good but pricey for just regular breakfast. $44.00 with tax, tip and two coffees. I'll definitely go back, but probably not on a regular basis. I was too hungry to snap pictures
