We ate at the Flying Biscuit for the first time today. My husband had a burger and he said it was good. I had the veggie egg scramble and it was good. I do not like grits so I had the potatoes. There is a seasoning on the potatoes that I do not like. The sugar on biscuit is not for me, I scraped it off. I usually eat vegetarian so my options were limited. I do not eat the over processed Beyond Meat so that is not an option for me. We had received a coupon in the mail and decided to try it. Not sure we will be regulars. When given a choice between the Flying Biscuit or Kingwood Bagel, hands down Kingwood Bagel is the winner.

I don't like breakfast that much. I would rather eat lunch out. We go to Salt Gras and order off the lunch menu. 14.99 plus they give you an AARP of 10%. That is a nice outing for me. We drink water so no drink price. And the food is pretty good. I hope our breakfast place makes it. I am sure they will.

Glad you had a great time, that is steep, but it's nice to get what you want great food!â¤ï¸
Thanks for posting the prices. I was about to look it up. I don't think Flying Biscuit is out of line with other places unfortunately. It's a new normal.
I dated a guy in college that his best friend from high school opened a breakfast only restaurant in a not so great part of town because the rent was super cheap (this was in Minneapolis). My boyfriend would cook for him on the weekends when they were super busy to help him out. They were always packed out, line to get in. His friend said breakfast was the cheapest meal to make. He made real good money. The place was opened from 6:30am to 2pm or when they ran out of food, closed Monday and Tuesdays. When I moved to Texas, he was looking for a second location. Lost touch so don't know if it's still open.
