Thanks for the heads up. It's always fascinating that it can be bright and sunny and then insane storms and rain in no time here.

Thanks . I noticed south of us already had flood watches. It's beautiful today so I guess we should enjoy it before the rains come.

Thank you for keeping us informed. It always feels strange whenever we are having clear skies and sunny weather, and have a flood warning at the same time. Lol
#msg5925863StainlessSteelR : That's one of the things I had to get used to about Houston. It could be clear and sunny all day and then suddenly a big storm will come through. Or, it could be sunny where you are, and your family and friends could be going through a thunderstorm in their part of town. I've even seen it rain on the other side of the street, and not get a drop on our side. So, so, strange.
We've been here in Texas over fourty years and I'll never get used to it. The raining on one side of the street while the other remains dry has always been amusing.

Heads up guys: We could see some strong cells around the area later today. HRRR models (future scans) are showing some discreet looking cells in & around Harris County during that timeframe.

440PM Future radar scans now show little to no rain this evening.....I still think this might end up being a busted forecast so keep that in mind for the weekend.

Wonder if any of the weathermen on TV are embarrassed for their mistakes in predicting rain all week long as much as 80% on some days. Shame on them, lol.
