Boonie : Any idea as to why? Are they trying to better the debacle they created in 2017?
StormChaser : I just finished watching a local weather man. This tropical storm heading this way, now likely, is giving me Harvey vibes. I don't want to be an alarmist, but the weather man seemed alarmed by the potential. I would recommend using every available channel to contact the San Jacinto River Authority/ elected officials. DO NOT think they couldn't repeat getting caught with their pants down like during Harvey. Time to release is now or fast approaching.

FreebyrdII : I don't know. I dont think they have received that much rain thus far and maybe they are trying to let lake Houston dump as much as they can before they would release anything.
Fanofdogs: The setup we have looming is the setup to cause serious flooding. A low pressure spinning in the gulf. sending rounds of rain through houston. Be careful on the roads. « Back to Chat
