Fiber internet. I have been using Tachus/Ezee since we moved to North Woodland Hills almost two years ago. I am having stability issues on some of my Zoom calls. Xfinity stopped by today promising half the price for 5 years. Does anyone else use Xfinity? I have never lived in their footprint and don't have experience with them.

Is that the 5 years for $50/month? I recently bought a house and had them come out to install fiber. First guy came in and laid the cable. Second guy came in and was telling me there was no fiber here so he'd have to set it up. Fine. He comes back about two or three minutes later from outside and tells me he's gonna have to drill a hole on the second floor to run the cable outside.
I'm thinking he meant like a pinhole for the fiber wire to drop through. Also fine. He works for like two hours back and forth. At this point I'm like, "Alright, what is he doing?" Eventually he gets it, has me create my network ID and password. He leaves and then. I go back to my old place to get more boxes to bring back to the house. When I got back I was finally able to marvel at his craftsmanship… Obviously I called Xfinity, fought with eight or nine different chatbots to get somebody out here. The next guy comes out, calls his boss and is told, "Don't touch it. It needs to go to damage claims." Now I'm back to fighting with chat bots to figure out what to do. If I don't hear from them by Wednesday, I'll likely have my contractors fix it and just come after Xfinity for the money another way. I'm obviously not leaving stucco open like this.

Oh Lord! I had Suddenlink for 10 years with no service issues. But the constant price raising made me mad. I dropped them for Xfinity and service was slow and junky. Went back to Optimum for $30 for 5G for 5 years. Its good now and without the constant price raising, im very happy.
