Everyone in NOLA, Saying Those Prayers have been discussing things with my relatives in Louisiana, some near New Orleans. at this point, they are thanking the Lord for change in the path of Isaias , and praying for those in Pensacola!

They are remembering Katrina. That is one that is hard to forget.

Katrina is hard for us to forget, we had to handle all the evacuated, many are still here.
Oh yes! My cousins had a home in the Garden District, and had just spent 40K redoing it, after their last child headed off to college. During Katrina, the water came half way up the walls on the Second floor, and just decimated this old, gorgeous 6 bedroom home. They ended up moving to Nashville, since their 3rd and last child had just started college there, at Vanderbilt. Their home there is stunning, but they Really miss the history of their NOLA home , and the GD itself. They just could Not go through that again, on any level. I don't blame them. I have friends in Pensacola, and they left to head up to NC, to her dh's parent's home, to be safe.
luckily, they have had a couple of days to prepare. but they are All doing it, at once. Grocery stores are empty, making sand bags, boarding up windows, long lines for gas, packing and hitting the road in slow traffic, to leave...so stressful, and have done it more than a Few times, so our prayers are a good idea. Just looked at radar, and Port Sulphur on the coast( the Best redfish spot I have ever been to!) is getting a lot of rain, but by noon tomorrow, it will all be out of there, and In to Florida :0
I am very thankful Isaias isn't coming here and praying for those in the path.
