ERCOT 😬

I'm watching Fox26 right now and something is going on with ERCOT. 😬

They just read a 458am internal ops message that the media just got saying:

"Type: Emergency"

"At 5am, ERCOT is issuing a transmission emergency in south and southeast Texas for loss of transmission from freezing precipitation."

StormChaser: I saw the same message. This is a little concerning. Hopefully it will not happen. Although I'm good with generator on standby others are not so lucky. Please continue to keep us all updated.

mellen : Just strange that it was #1 Released at all if everything is "Good to go" (as they say) and #2 It was only released to the media.

StormChaser :
I hope people are not going to lose power. It would be the pits to have no heat.

I thought they knew it would mess up when they brought in 3000 additional workers.
