$455 and constantly on 80 degrees. Pool pump In back. Two units and 3K sq ft. Only about $15 a day. Worth it.
Just got my electric bill notification in the mail today = only $238 with last month's bill was $200. Of course, I'm still waiting on the CoH water bill that will probably be 3x what the increase in electric bill. I'll probably get that water bill tomorrow and may pass out! So many areas of my lawn look brown - just like everyone elses.
Electric bills! Took that deep breath today and opened the electric bill. My AC has been going non stop with this heat so I knew it would be up there. $371.29 bucks which is a $99 increase from last month! Thankfully we made up for it with a $120 water bill and a beautiful yard 💚 I can't imagine those that are paying 18-20 cents a kilowatt! We're paying 10 flat which isn't great but it isn't horrible. The fact that someone is always here is what's killing us.
Just got mine. My usage was just $156. I'm on balanced billing, so my bill will be $65 this month. Very pleasantly surprised.
Unfortunately We hit the 300s too. Our air is always running too because someone is always home. Helps that the house is one level though. We stay at a constant 71/72
$510 this month. 3200', keep the thermostat on 71/72. Up about $80 from last month. Theres no way I could keep my temp above 75 like its suggested, so I guess this is the price I pay to live reasonably comfortable in Houston.
$450 for electric
$385 for water One person. 2500 sq ft one story house. Double windows. I did have new sod that I had to water so hopefully bill should go back down to around $200 which is absurd to start with. My contact ran out on electric. I am now under contract for lower rate so we'll see. Highest bill I've ever had since I moved here in 1998! I'm retired so over $800/mo utilities isn't going to work with my budget!
