Off duty officer involved shooting in Kings Lake Estates off WLH

5300 block of Treewood Drive; WLHP and Upper Lake Drive, OD HCSO deputy discharged his weapon, and struck a male subject, who is currently in critical condition. Info still holding on the incident, but will probably be mentioned on the 5pm news, if interviews of all involved are completed.

OD officer had put his child in car seat, and an unknown male tried to open car door where child was sitting.OD gave multiple warnings, but subject did not retreat. More details on news now

Now saying the perpetrator has died. OD deputy called emergency and was giving details, as this happened. Deputy had credible fear, as the man was trying to enter through the car door where his child was in the carseat. Perp ignored numerous warnings to stop, and did not.

I'm sure the usual B.S. excuses for guys like this are already being formed. It's simple, as usual: Play stupid games, win stupid prizes. Most likely a clear case of FAFO. If this turns out to be a case of attempted child abduction, then this guy got the proper medication for that disease - a hot lead injection. Simple as that.
