Denny's completed its $82.5 million acquisition of Keke's Breakfast Cafe, which has 52 units across Florida, the company announced Wednesday.

LittleTexas: I read it's owned by two brothers "Keith and Kevin". The " keke" name is taken from their names .

I am excited about a new breakfast place, especially in the front of Kingwood. That front shopping center will be booming once Trader Joe's opens up too! I am glad they are getting some good places in there.

I'm always happy about a new breakfast place, my favorite meal! I found Flying Biscuit very disappointing, so I am crossing my fingers that Keke's will be good.

I think a short-term boom is a certainty with curiosity doing what curiosity does. I don't see this neck of the woods doing weekly family shopping of carts full of groceries as more than a fad. I like much of the off-beat stuff. That should be a red flag.

Glad to see new businesses but ...the traffic on KW drive may become even more of a nightmare. It already backs up when someone wants to turn left into that shopping center during peak traffic times. Fingers crossed shoppers and breakfast eaters wait until the am rush hour ends.

You're not wrong about traffic, I remember the traffic backing up when Randalls was open. When Trader Joe hype happens it will be crazy but hoping it mellows to a busy but not gridlocked normal... I am all for businesses doing well and boosting the economy here.
