Dirty silverware

ExCTGuyInTX : Who knows! I don't know how they clean their silverware, I just know they do not do a very good job. You would think someone would catch it as they roll the silverware in the napkins. 4951

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Many restaurants have Special ed kids roll the silverware and place the tables for the day! Not sure if they still do this but they did years ago for Humble ISD. 4951

carol888 : It is great if they hire Special Ed kids but that still is no reason for having dirty silverware. I love that Kroger hires them. Some of them even become checkers. 4951

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : These were work/field trips and not paid but learning how to do little tasks correctly! 4951

carol888 : That is great! I have a friend whos daughter did things like this. She went to a school "college" that taught her how to be independent. My friend knows they will not be here forever themselves and having their challenged child be able to take care of herself is so important to them. 4951

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : Years ago I thought I was walking in to a nice Carrabbas in Kingwood but was quickly greeted by a mouse trying to vacate the restaurant !! As I was opening the door to enter the restaurant the little guy had it floored and was trying to escape in a hurry but I quickly closed the door because he caught me off guard (ok got a little scared lol) so I quickly shut the door and trapped him inside the restaurant where other people were waiting to be seated and nobody even noticed him . 😂

@RickL71 : LOL, I would have shut the door too! If I saw a mouse I would not stay and have dinner there. I'm sure lots of restaurants have mice. YUCK! Another reason to just eat at home! 4951

TEXASGIRLMAMMA : I would have left but I was late to a family dinner with about 12 of us so I just sat and didn't eat just drank bottled beer 🍺 4951

Reivax : Restaurant dishwashing, food handling, food storage, prep work, etc. My view is, water spots on silverware are the least of my concerns if I choose to go out to eat. 4951
